Dear Friends ~

Just as I know that real spring weather will come to New England, I know that Circles Greater Nashua will begin its first cohort!  Yes, “hope does spring eternal”!  Yes, when I wrote to you last month, I was confident that we would begin sometime this month because we had enough Circle Leader candidates, Allies and support teams ready to begin.  But as quickly as we had enough candidates, two candidates moved and two more candidates withdrew from consideration.  And this is the nature of our start-up.  We continue to reach out to the community and we continue to receive inquiries about our program.  In fact, I have interviews scheduled this week and we’ve been invited to participate in the Adult Learning Center’s “Jobs & Resource Fair” coming up in May.

I remain confident that Circles will come to Nashua and I hope you do, too.  If you wish to speak to me or my colleagues, please do.  Your comments, questions and concerns are always welcome.  As one of our Allies wrote to me last month:  “I’ll be ready whenever you are!” – here’s hoping that it will happen in May!

Equipping Families and Communities

“We believe no one should live in poverty. Families and communities can take charge of their destinies. And if given the right tools and support, economic stability can be achieved.   We see it happen in our chapters every day.

Through an approach that combines our techniques with the individualized support of our dedicated volunteers and the resources of organizations and communities, we create an environment that educates, empowers and equips our members to move up and out of poverty successfully.”
