Join the Community Resource Team...Do you have a passion for feeding people, being a host and sharing hospitality with others? If yes, then we have a volunteer opportunity for you! CGN will be providing a weekly dinner beginning on October 3rd at the start of each Circle's meeting. We will sit and dine together in community as we prepare to be intentional, supportive friends to our neighbors-in-need who are willing to do the hard work of getting out of poverty.

This resource team will procure food to cook; schedule groups who want to donate cooked meals; and gather donated foods from local farms, farmers' markets, supermarkets and restaurants. Part of the team will assist with room set-up and welcoming participants and volunteers alike helping all to feel comfortable together. Pick the area(s) that interests you most..."many hands make light work!"

The time commitment is entirely up to you ...come weekly, come monthly or come quarterly as we welcome all who contribute with a spirit of partnership and willingness to serve others. This event will be the first meeting to organize this highly valued team!

First organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 12 from 6p - 7:30p at 154 Main Street (Main Street United Methodist Church).  The goal is to get acquainted with one another and to learn the big picture view of how essential this group is.  Circles Greater Nashua will provide materials to organize the work and the scope of the team.  Come have fun, meet new people and provide a much-needed service as we walk side by side with our neighbors-in-need!
